Whilst living with his spiteful aunts, James is a whisked off on an adventure with a group of insects after an enormous peach starts growing in his backyard.

Roald Dahl has created a rich cast of characters in James and the Giant Peach, from the spiteful aunts Sponge and Spiker to the sweet Miss Spider, and readers will love how simultaneously funny and spooky it is.

This is a great read for children looking for their first chapter book, and it can be revisited again and again.
