Look, Percy Jackson didn’t want to be a half-blood, but there is a good chance that you will want to be after reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series!

Percy Jackson is just a normal everyday son of Poseidon who loves his mother and all things blue. In this amazing fantasy/adventures series, Percy goes on tons of wild adventures, battling with gods and other creatures of legend.

With prevalent themes around friendship, leadership and heroics, this series is a wonderful read for any kids who love fantasy or Greek mythology. This series is great for readers 8-12, though the ages do shift upward as the series continue. With numerous spin-off series, you’re sure to never get bored reading all about the adventures of Seaweed Brain and Wise Girl.

This was my favourite series growing up and is always my first recommendation to middle grade kids.
