Mabel Murple is a cyclical picture book in which one child spends a rainy day imagining the whole purple life and world of another child, called Mabel Murple. Mabel roars around the city on adventures of her own making before going to bed and beginning to imagine the whole green life and world of another child.
This story is a delight, and kids will love Mabel’s majorly mirthful mischief and her phenomenal purple personality. Full of richly coloured pages and plenty of fuel for the imagination, it’s hard to find anything to complain about in this purple masterpiece besides the lack of sage-coloured sequel.
