Beatrix Potter transports readers into a wonderful world of creatures and their mischief. Peter Rabbit is a sneaky rabbit who tries to steal vegetables from the farmers garden but loses his sweater while being chased. His mom is not too happy that he lost his brand-new sweater.

Tom Kitten is about a kitten who is not very proper and gets in lots of trouble for making a mess and being impolite. His mother is not very happy with his actions either.

Potter uses animals to teach children a lesson, like manners, or sharing, an appeal for all families. This series is great for children of all ages, because there are so many good lessons, wonderful characters, and silly happenings. Personally, I have had these books since I was little and cherish the little stories so much.
