This is a lovely book of poems, one for each season to be exact. Through colourful words and lovely illustrations, the seasons come to life in this little book of poems. There is spring, summer, autumn and winter, and each one has its own unique poem to capture the season and its feelings.
This book of poems is great for audiences 8 and over, because it shows them the seasons through a lens they may have not explored yet. The appeal to this book is the words on the pages, but also the seasonal exploration through these lovely poems.
Overall, I wanted there to be more, and there wasn’t. That is also my only major issue with this book of poems, less is more except when you want more.
