This zine is full of modern day recipes from Choctaw people from the Texas and Oklahoma regions. Many of the recipes come with photos of the final product, and they include a small explanation or exploration of the dish. The recipes range from desserts to main supper meals, breakfasts to side dishes, each with varying levels of difficulty. This could easily be made into a fun evening of baking, cooking, and enjoyment of different cultural foods. The best part of the zine are the comments throughout each recipe that note personal connections to the food, such as the specific ways in which a family member may eat or prepare the dish.

The zine also includes a panel of six other zines you can purchase through the independent publishing house, and most of the recommendations are Indigenous-centered.
