L’actu is a French magazine covering current events, but with a focus on issues relevant to or related to teenaged audiences. According to its publisher, this is the only (French language) magazine intended for young adult readers. This magazine contains sections like the hashtag section for currently trending topics, news by region, photos of the day, interviews, and more.
Any young adults with an interest in current events will enjoy seeing more about what people their own age are doing on the world stage, including important work, volunteering, and activism. Published six days per week, the only weakness to this magazine is that it isn’t based in Canada, and therefore its content is more removed from the lives of teens in Nova Scotia.
