Once loyal mates, Jamie and Peter become necessary enemies in this twisted fairy tale.
The new spin on the classic Peter Pan story gives voice to a more cunning Captain Hook and provides a fresh take on how he becomes a fierce pirate. The book is unexpectedly violent but paints a necessary picture of Peter as a gruesome being like in the original tale. Don’t expect a happy ending from this book, recommended for ages fourteen and above. As we know, Captain Hook is always looking for revenge.
