Pretty Little Liars (PLL for short) is a show that follows four young friends as they grapple with the murder of one of their best friends. The show begins sometime after the murder and the friends have separated ways. A cryptic text that they all receive brings them back together in a mystery with lies, murder, romance, stalkers, and kidnappings. Emily, Aria, Spencer, Hannah, and Alison work through different iterations of their stalker A, while bonding as friends in a town that holds a lot of secrets.
This show is suited for the older viewers of YA television shows as there is sexual content and murder throughout the show. My biggest critique of PLL is that there were too many twists and turns, making it hard to follow sometimes.
