In a post-apocalypse world, you play as a cat, completing platforming puzzles and chatting with robots to find your way back to the surface.
With gorgeous visuals and charming characters, Stray will captivate any audience easily. More serious story elements are given the appropriate weight (like being separated from your family), but there are also moments of levity throughout.
Stray is interested in what it means to be someone, and the ways communities connect and grow. It is concerned with the environment, and how we care (or don’t) for one another. Seeing the world through the eyes of a cat, we get the love of strangers easily and a unique perspective on the landscape.
The age recommendation accounts for some mature themes (nothing graphic) and difficult puzzles (many of them rely on quick reflexes that takes both skill with a controller and general dexterity to accomplish).
