The Vancouver Public Library teen website is simple, but effective. The first section on the right side is about programs for teens, which is important because they want to get teens into the library, but also because teens may not realize that the library hosts programs for them. The site also has a teen journal, where youth can submit their writing and artwork. Another section is all about eBooks for teens that they can read or listen to on their phone or tablet, which appeals to teens and meets them where they are. There are also sections for resources for teens, homework help, book recommendations, educator resources, and how teens can earn community service hours at the library.

This site is appealing because each section is laid out clearly and information that teens need and want does not appear to be buried. The VPL also has a teen newsletter, which demonstrates that they make an effort to serve teens, meet them where they are, and regularly let them know what the library can offer them.
