Until Dawn is an interactive horror game in which eight teens are staying in a secluded mountain cabin attempting to survive against an unknown predator. The player is able to embody each character and move through the movie-like storyline making different decisions, which lead to different outcomes.
Supermassive Games has also released a virtual reality spinoff Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (2016) and a prequel The Inpatient (2018). The production company has made similar interactive horror games including The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (2019).
This work is appealing because it feels like watching a movie where you get to make decisions for the characters. Anyone who is a fan of horror movies would love this game. In order to play this game, you must be quick on your feet at times.
Overall, this is a fun game, but should be kept to teens who are above seventeen or are more mature.
