Wednesday Addams is not your typical teenage girl. Notable for her pale skin, dark braided pigtails, and black outfits, she rarely smiles and barely shows her emotions. After releasing piranhas into her school’s pool, she is forced to leave and enroll at Nevermore Academy. Nevermore is a private school meant for monstrous outcasts and is in Jericho, Vermont. However, things start to go awry at Nevermore, and Wednesday is forced to solve the mysteries to clear her name.
This show is rated TV-14 and is meant for older teens due to its graphic nature. This is another coming-of-age story where Wednesday initially rejects her parents' viewpoints. However, as she spends more time at Nevermore, she slowly becomes more accepting of her life and situation. Overall, this is a fun, kooky, and spooky show that acts very much like a teenage soap opera, but the character development is slow.
