Halifax Public Libraries’ teen library page features events, news and blog posts relevant to teenagers. It also features curated lists of middle grade and young adult novels and links to new young adult content that has been added to the library’s collection. The site includes a link to teen volunteer opportunities within the library. The page is focused on teens around the ages of 12-18. The website does have some similarities to other library websites such as the City Library in Salt Lake City which includes book lists and events, but it would benefit from including other features such as a teen blog written by and for local teens or book reviews of teen novels. Overall, this is a relatively good resource for teens but could use some improvements.
