Where The Wild Things Are is a monstruous tale of a little boy who dreams up a world where monsters live, and he becomes their king.

This is a wonderfully illustrated book about imagination and what you can dream of. It's great for any child 6 and up, as there is simple language and fun characters for every child to enjoy.

The appeal to this book is the imagination aspect of the story because it draws children into a special world but allows there to be a hint of reality. My main issue with this book is that the story seems to jump from one page to another, there is not always a grammatical and linear progression to the story.

Overall, this book is a 7/10 for its cuteness, but it is not my favourite.
