Pop icon Lizzo released her top charting album titled Special in July of 2022. Mixing lyricism with uplifting beats makes for a well rounded, exciting pop album.
Easy to dance to (easy to cry to...), Special holds some of Lizzo's most iconic hits so far, such as "About Damn Time." What's the best part of the album, you may ask? The infectious nature of the beats? The touching lyrics that are intermingled with R&B? Or is it the music videos that accompany the iconic songs? It may very well be the TikTok dance that has gone viral for "About Damn Time" (a trend Lizzo herself even joined). No matter what is decided as the pivotal element, there is no doubt that Lizzo has made a(nother) banger album.
