Teen Ink is a website and national teen magazine that is “devoted entirely to teenage writing, art, photos, and forums”. Its targeted audience is teenagers who enjoy reading or writing about different art forms or anything else that may be happening in their lives. The magazine covers topics such as art, love and relationships, family, school and academics, current events, self-esteem, and more. They offer features around fiction pieces, poetry, art and photography, college guides, contests, and more.

What makes this magazine unique is its staff; in fact, they have no staff writers or artists, and the magazine is entirely comprised of work from the teenage community submissions. Teen Ink encourages teenagers to express themselves artistically and creatively, offers opportunities to teens to submit and publish their own creative work or writing to the magazine about whatever topics or genre they choose.

This magazine is offered in a paper subscription or online, and various past issues are offered online for free. The website is easy to navigate and expansive, though a big cluttered and it takes a minute to get your bearings. Overall the magazine is very worthwhile.
