For fans of open world gameplay and the never-ending saga of Zelda and Link, Breath of the Wild is an incredible adventure loaded game. Set in Hyrule, players start the game as Link who has just awoken after having been asleep for 100 years. As Link and you discover Hyrule, Link finds that the world is being terrorized by Ganon, an evil monster known as the Demon King, who has also captured Princess Zelda. Link sets out to understand how to take down Ganon and build up the skills and weaponry that he has lost. Explore Hyrule while discovering the runes, shrines, villages, korok seeds, etc. that dot the landscape.
This is an incredible game that can be continuously played (even if you have finished the main quest). It works well as a stand-alone game so there is no need to be familiar with other Zelda storylines.
