This is the 2nd book from the Harry Potter novels, a book series about the lives of young wizard Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who all are students at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This 2nd book follows Harry's second year at Hogwarts, during which a series of messages on the walls of the school warns that the ‘Chamber of Secrets’ has been opened and would kill all students who do not come from magical families. Later, a spirit is hunted in the girls’ bathroom. This spirit strangely converts students into stone and this mystery gets resolved in the end through the investigation done by Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

Overall, a well-written fantasy filled with mystery and adventures for teens.
